So bondage and freedom, both, are only things Maya has fashioned - they were never in the Self at all, the Self that has no parts, does nothing, is entirely at peace, without a single fault or stain, without a second, the highest reality there is. Where, in something like that, is there even room to imagine such things - any more than you could paint a picture on empty sky?

Therefore, those two, bondage and liberation, fashioned by Maya, are not in the Self - the partless, actionless, tranquil, faultless, taintless, non-dual Supreme Reality. How could there be any imagining [of them], as in empty space?
