So make every effort yourself to break free from this bondage of worldly existence, the way a wise person, when sick, personally does everything needed to get well.

Therefore, for release from the bondage of worldly existence, effort should be made by oneself alone, with all effort, just as the wise make effort [to cure themselves] of disease and the like.
