। ॥ ९१ ॥
In plain words
Through the outer senses, the individual self, taking this body as its own, indulges in gross pleasures of every kind: garlands, sandal-paste, the company of women, and more. That is why this body plays its starring role in the waking state.
Close to the Sanskrit
With the external organs, the jīva itself, through this [gross] body-self, performs the enjoyment of gross objects of varied forms — garland, sandal-paste, women, and so on. Therefore this body's glory is in the waking state.
