। ॥ ९९ ॥
In plain words
Now hear about the subtle body, the liṅga-śarīra, formed from the elements before they combined into gross matter. Carrying its bundle of latent impressions, it is the vehicle through which the fruits of past action are experienced — a beginningless limiting condition placed on the Self, existing only because of the Self's own ignorance.
Close to the Sanskrit
Hear [now] of this body called subtle, the liṅga [-śarīra], born from the non-quintuplicated elements — together with latent impressions, the means of experiencing the fruit of action — a beginningless upādhi of the Self, [arising] from its own ignorance.
