In plain words
Country, birth, and all that goes with them; class and stage of life, and all that clings to them: put away these ways of thinking about yourself. Hold instead to the sense of your own true state, and practise it always.
Word for word
Remove conceptions of country, birth-community and associated distinctions, and those attached to class and stage of life. Hold to contemplation of one's own state alone and practise it always.
