So too sorrow, inertness and unreality appearing in Existence-Consciousness-Bliss are projections of māyā, not the Self’s intrinsic nature. Karma does not oppose ignorance and can even sustain its framework; only lofty Knowledge is the fire that consumes both ignorance and binding karma.
