An enjoined action may be done, omitted, or performed otherwise; Knowledge is not like this. Meditation and discriminative knowledge are therefore distinct. Meditation may deliberately contemplate one thing as another, but knowledge is the direct seeing of what actually is. Do not confuse imagination with truth.
