Verse 116

Tap any word for its meaning.

In plain words

Love born from sensory pleasure changes as its objects change; the deep love of oneself does not. Objects may be accepted or abandoned, but who can abandon the Self, or take it up anew? Even the one who relinquishes all enjoyments cannot, for a single day, be relinquished by himself. Thus the Self is loved without condition.
