In plain words

Even a tiger is liked if it proves favourable, while a son is disliked if he becomes hostile; grass and other neutral things evoke neither. Thus liking and disliking vary with circumstance. The stainless Conscious Self, however, is never an object one alternately loves, hates or ignores. Examine deeply your own nature: it is limitless Bliss itself.
