In plain words
What follows when this is so, he says: Thus the being Śiva of all entities stands simply equal; the distinction here of higher, lower and the rest has been spoken of by those who go by faith. Of entities from Paramaśiva down to pots and the like, being Śiva is ‘equal’, neither less nor more, and since it does not go beyond the form of full cit, it is fixed for all of them; through their attaining oneness of savour in that way, there would be a certain state: that is the meaning. And so, since all has oneness of savour with the form of Śiva, the distinction of things into higher, lower and the rest, in the form of purity and impurity, made of the non-recognition of that, has been spoken of. There, any purity or impurity belongs to creatures, through mere faith that is without reasoning, and not to things themselves.
