अतश्चनिर्भयं यद्यदानन्द-मयमेकं यदव्ययम् ।पदं देह्येहि मे देवतूर्णं तत्किं प्रतीक्षसे ॥ ८९ ॥हे देव, एहि - स्वरूपगोपनां निमज्ज्य संमुखीभव, ततश्च यत् आनन्दमयम् अद्वितीयम् अविनाशि निर्भयं - यस्मिन् सति संसारभयं नास्ति, यद्विषयं च अपसरणाशंकाभयमपि न भवति, ईदृशं यत् पदं - विश्रान्तिधाम, तत् मह्यं तूर्णं देहि - शीघ्रं मां स्वात्मनि आवेशय, किं प्रतीक्षसे - क्षणमात्रमपि मा विलम्बं कृथाः - इति गाडमुत्कण्ठितस्य प्रणयनिर्भरोक्तिः ॥ ८९ ॥
In plain words
And therefore: That state which is fearless, which is made of ānanda, which is one, which is imperishable: come, O God, and give it to me quickly; why do You wait? O God, ‘come’, that is, sink Your concealing of Your own form and stand face to face with me; and then the ‘state’ that is made of ānanda, without a second, imperishable, ‘fearless’, that is, such that when it is there the fear of saṃsāra is not, and in regard to which there is not even the fear of the dread of falling away from it: the state that is such, that is, the abode of rest, give that to me ‘quickly’, that is, swiftly make me enter into Your own Self. ‘Why do You wait?’ that is, make no delay for even a moment: these are the words, brimming with love, of one who longs deeply.
