In plain words
And just as by Your will alone You show the emanation, maintenance and withdrawal of the universe, so it is You alone who grace those to be graced: so he says: Here in the three worlds, O Protector, who is not scorched by the threefold heat? Homage be to You, to that One who is the lake of nectar for its quenching. O ‘Protector’, that is, You who still the fear of saṃsāra: ‘here’, that is, in the world, who is ‘not scorched’ by ‘the threefold heat’, that is, by the group of three heats, in the form of what arises from oneself, from the gods and from beings? Every one is scorched. As is proclaimed: “From Brahmā down to the worm, no one is truly happy; every one, wishing to live, works this change and that.” So it is said. Therefore ‘to You’, that is, to You alone, ‘to that One’, that is, to one beyond the common, be ‘homage’, You who are ‘the lake of nectar’, that is, the ocean of the ānanda of the supreme non-duality, ‘for its quenching’, that is, for the stilling of the scorching of the universe.
