In plain words
So that those who have devotion may set out to take refuge and the rest, he shows the excellence of the hymn by way of a closing, preceded by the uttering of his own name, whose power is well known: The wishing-jewel that is the praise of Śaṃbhu, which grants the fruit of many wishes, the dwelling of Lakṣmī who is devotion: this Bhaṭṭa Nārāyaṇa made. The Bhaṭṭa named Nārāyaṇa, whose power is well known through his being a great devotee of Śiva, ‘made’ the ‘praise’ ‘of Śaṃbhu’, that is, of the Lord, the Great God, who bestows grace whose nature is the recognition of one's own Self, dense with cit and ānanda: the hymn itself, as a ‘wishing-jewel’. What is it like? It is that which grants the ‘fruit’ of ‘many wishes’, the great fruit marked by samāveśa in the Lord; and since devotion itself, being made of oneness with the Great Lord, is ‘Lakṣmī’, that is, the supreme fortune, it is ‘her dwelling’, that is, her everlasting abode. Through hearing this hymn, reciting it and the like, the supreme Lakṣmī of samāveśa ever embraces those who have devotion. Śivam.
