In plain words

Janaka of Videha, coming down from his cushion, said, "Salutation to thee, Yājñavalkya. Teach me." He said, "As a man about to go a long journey would take a chariot or a ship, your majesty, so hast thou made thy self ready by these secret teachings. Thou art thus honoured and wealthy, hast studied the Vedas and been told the secret doctrine; but when thou art released from here, whither wilt thou go?" "I do not know, sir, whither I shall go." "Then I shall tell thee whither thou wilt go." "Tell me, sir."
