In plain words
"The Uktha is Brahman" — thus indeed said Śuṣkabhṛṅgāra. Let a man worship it as the Ṛc, and all beings sing his praise for his pre-eminence. Let him worship it as the Yajus, and all beings are yoked to him for his pre-eminence. Let him worship it as the Sāman, and all beings bow to him for his pre-eminence. Let him worship it as prosperity, let him worship it as glory, let him worship it as splendour. As this is of all the sacred texts the most prosperous, the most glorious, the most splendid, so he who knows thus becomes of all beings the most prosperous, the most glorious, the most splendid. The Adhvaryu builds up this self made of the brick-work of ritual; upon it he weaves what is made of the Yajus; upon what is made of the Yajus the Hotṛ weaves what is made of the Ṛc, and upon what is made of the Ṛc the Udgātṛ weaves what is made of the Sāman. This is the self of the whole threefold knowledge, and this indeed is the self of him: he becomes the self of this, who knows thus.
