“That is why, for the sake of the protection of Dharma, the elders must nourish Dharma; and to put such karmas of dharma into practice, they must practise them first and hand them on to others. Only when they themselves do a great deal and have it done, see it and show it, can the ajñānis learn even a little and step into practice.”
