In plain words

“So there is no one who comes into the world and remains without doing karma with this body; there is no such person. Only if each carries out with vigilance the karmas that befit him can this wheel of the universe run without hindrance. Brother-in-law! You too may doubt why jñānis should do karma. Not you alone: the doubt may arise in anyone in the world. The conduct of those who stand in the highest position is the example for all ordinary people. The karmas of elders, of those who are experienced, are themselves dharmas. The responsibilities of such people, too, are of the very highest kind. If the elders, the jñānis, were to sit idle, saying, “We need not do anything; we have already experienced everything. There is no connection between those karmas and us. What business have we with them?”, what would become of the ajñānis, the ordinary people? Then a decline of Dharma would inevitably occur.”
