Then Arjuna said, “Kṛṣṇa! If that is so, can such people not attain You? You are saying that this ‘cessation of sorrow’ is the first cause of attaining You. But what really is the cause of this sorrow? How does it arise? Only when they know that will they try to remove it, surely? So first tell me what the cause of sorrow is, Svāmī!”
