In plain words

The Paramātma, who had been watching this, came up to Arjuna, stroked his back and said, “Brother-in-law! There is no need to tremble and take fright and stand there disheartened over so little. That itself is the supreme secret here: merely by hearing, faith in a thing does not come; when one enquires into it and looks, it becomes known in full. This vidyā is not as hard as it is made out to be, nor as hard to achieve as you imagined. To renounce all attachment, one does not have to wear matted locks and ochre robes and waste the body away with tapas. It is enough that all the karmas you do are done as niṣkāma karmas, with the attitude of offering them to Īśvara. You will surely attain Me; you can become a mukta. This is the truth. This itself is the supreme secret here.”
