Passage 13

Tap any word for its meaning.

In plain words

The offering is Brahman, the oblation is Brahman, poured by Brahman into the fire that is Brahman; Brahman alone is reached by the one who rests in Brahman in every act.

We are offering to Brahman. If we put to ourselves the question, "Where is Brahman?":

Becoming Vaiśvānara, I dwell in the bodies of all that breathe.

In the form of Vaiśvānara I am in everyone. He digests the food you have eaten and supplies it to all the limbs. Put the question to yourself. Where is god. If you think "Ahaṃ vaiśvānaro bhūtvā", the answer comes to you. So God is in all. Hiraṇyagarbha has the name Vaiśvānara. So the form of Vaiśvānara means God Himself. He who is the form of the universe dwells in your body in the form of an atom. Whatever the bond is between the moon and Manas, in just the same way that is the bond between God and Vaiśvānara.

However many days, however long we live in this universe and however many works we do, if the one faith called that divinity is missing, all becomes ashes. That faith alone is our true breath. It is with that faith that we must face things in society. We must think that all are the offspring of one God. We must achieve unity and capability. Only when we achieve this unity does Purity grow in us. When this Purity grows, then divinity becomes our contentment. For this unity, Purity and Divinity, our conduct is what matters most. In our life we must give no place to community. On the day our unity, our Purity is shattered, on that very day community comes to us. Those who have this community are the base ones. The one who has this unity is the brave one. We are all one human race. Caste of Humanity, Religion of Love, Language of heart: we must keep these three in view. Only then do we give the world an ideal life. We must push far away all our narrow feelings. We must build close bonds and ties. We must make humanity grow. This is the chief message Kṛṣṇa proclaimed. God's play, His songs, His words, each one is a teaching. There is no one lower than the one who neglects this. He falls into every misfortune.

Today things have advanced scientifically in so many ways. But for all these kinds of advance, it has been of no use at all to man's security or to his peace. Except in the spiritual alone, there is no peace at all on any other path. We have so much to learn in society. Society too has so much to learn from us.
