In plain words
Embodiments of Prema!
Whatever you have held to, held to it you have: stay just so until your hold prevails. Whatever you have longed for, longed for it you have: keep worshipping until your longing is fulfilled. Whatever you have asked for, asked for it you have: do not let go until what you asked is given. Whatever you have thought of, thought of it you have: do not move until your thought is fulfilled. Either He Himself, unable to bear the struggle, must save you, or you, forgetting your body, must ask; but other than that, for them to turn back further of their own accord is no vow of a devotee.
So we must make these organisations grow day by day, and make our birth fruitful in service alone, in Bhakti for God alone.
As Indulal Shah said, first is Bhakti for God, that is, the Spiritual wing; second is Bāla Vikās, that is, what concerns education. The third is what concerns service. These three organisations are enough for us. We can keep a charming three and glow with joy. Only because Bhakti for God has been lost has our Bhārata come today to such miseries. Our people must develop bhajan centres and try to practise these bhajans well. When you hear them in a melodious voice, the whole heart may well up. When songs are sung off key and against the beat, the heart burns. If we want to make the hearts of many people swell with delight, then when we sing with a pure voice, do bhajans and praise God, that heart experiences so much Ānanda. We must develop community bhajans. We must develop this bhajan training too. Elders are trees already grown hard. These trees can no longer be bent. If, from this day on, we keep bringing up the little children, in their future they will be able to show our Bhārata a spiritual ideal. We must grow Bāla Vikās beyond measure. We must grow the bhajan centres.
Within these service organisations we must take everyone in freely. Everyone has the right to do service. So in it, each one an office holder, each Sevā Dal a leader,
