Passage 13

Tap any word for its meaning.

In plain words

I and you are one. In that desire there must be no difference. Do not divide it into Spiritual desire and worldly desire.

Our Śānti depends on our conduct

We must try to make this Prema grow. This Prema alone is true Bhakti. So we must make the Prema of God grow. We must sow the seed of this Prema in the hearts of little children. We must teach them what their elders have lived through. We must tell them the lives of Great saints and moral stories. We must teach them truthful speech. So Bāla Vikās too must grow. If this Bāla Vikās grows step by step, Bhārata will be an ideal to all countries. We must make this ready today. Sevā, sevā: there is no leadership greater than servanthood. Love all serve all: this is what we need. We must love all. We must serve all. There is no other path to realisation in life than this serving and loving. What is religion? Realisation is religion. That is what we must attain. Our peace is not a gift given by God. It depends on what you talk and produce in action. It depends on your thoughts and on your action. If you develop loving, good thoughts, peace is right there. Think in some other way, and you are left in complete unrest. So our Śānti of mind depends on our conduct. So if we are to be peaceful, our thoughts and action must be peaceful.

If all of you carry out the Organisation's programmes, there will be no room for disputes

One more thing, which the State Presidents must attend to most of all. Indulal Shah took the responsibility, worked hard and did a great deal. If the Sathya Sai Organisation stands today as so big a tree, the reason is his care of it! But many ups and downs keep coming in the Organisation, in so large a world. For this, the State Presidents too are not giving proper Co-operation. I see it every time. I see every letter.
