In plain words

In students this is a very wrong path. So we need natural discrimination. Only when you discriminate in this way can you become master of everything. Otherwise you will have to suffer some punishments. Individual freedom is one thing; fundamental law is another. What is individual freedom like? You wish to take a stick and exercise well with it. If you want to do that, do it in your compound, do it on your terrace; do it anywhere in your house: there is no harm. This is individual freedom. But if you bring that big stick and stand whirling it on the public road, it goes against the fundamental law. Then the police come and arrest you. As necessary and as important as your freedom is to you, just so important is the other man's freedom to him. You must enjoy your freedom in such a way that it does not go against the other man's freedom. Instead, if I say I am whirling my stick, it falls to the traveller going along that road to go about dodging your stick. You are standing in the way of his freedom. So this is not freedom.

The end of wisdom is freedom. The end of culture is perfection The end of Knowledge is Love.

In students today weakness is turning into Prema. No, no. That is something joined with sacred dedication. The day we lose that energy, allergy begins in us. So we must give no room to allergy. We must nourish energy. That is our mental power. We must guard that mental power so that it does not waver. Pippalāda went on giving such teachings to the students. Students are those who will lift up the Bhārata of the future. In the future you yourselves are the authorities who will rule the world. What strength and ability students who are to become such authorities must achieve! Instead, they are only fighting, crying, ‘Right, right.’ But what about responsibility. In life, rights and responsibilities are the two wheels. The two wings. Students must not fight only for rights. They must look to responsibility too. We must understand our responsibilities.
