In plain words
A style of sculptural skill, ever new and radiant, a wealth of graceful beauty that shines out; pictured all over by the sculptor's art, its lamps of colour shedding a divine glory; a treasure ready to hand for a crore of sculptors, the splendour of a noble, divine inspiration; the inspiration of the ancient science of temple building, honoured as it spreads over earth and sky: at an auspicious hour, as a sign of blessing, the Prime Minister of Bhārata came and inaugurated the Viśva Kalyāṇa building, Narasimha, a sovereign honoured by all people!
When you are born from your mother's womb, no necklaces whatever are to be seen; no strings of fine pearls, not even for a sample; no chain of pure gold about your neck; no necklaces of gems shining bright; no emeralds or rubies set in; no necklaces of diamonds to dazzle; no hessonites came along with you. There is, there is one garland about your neck: all that you have done, every one of them counted, good or bad, not one left out, Brahmā gives you and sends you forth with a heavy garland: the necklace strung with all your karmas.
