Passage 1

Tap any word for its meaning.

In plain words

Into a head that holds nothing, anything can be put; a head filled with all sorts of things cannot be filled; will the skull filled with the teachings of Kali be emptied? Unless the skull is emptied, can good deeds be filled into it here on earth!

Embodiments of Prema!

Every human being must try to find out for himself who he is. When you say ‘Who am I?’, is this ‘I’ the body? Manas? The senses? Am I the Buddhi? Or am I the Ātma? If you really are the body, why should you say, ‘This is my body’? When you think ‘my body’, the body and you are separate, are you not! When you say ‘This is my handkerchief’, the handkerchief is separate from you. When you say ‘This is my body’, the body is separate from you. Who are you?

Because consciousness is present in all, God is present in everyone

The body, Manas, the senses, the Buddhi: all these are instruments; you are the master. There is a little story about this. Children are very fond of stories. Stories are the kind that are told in a spiritual way. But in these times all the modern young people are very fond of novels. There were a young man of 25 years and a mother of 60 years. For these 25 years the mother had a great attachment to that young man. He would not leave his mother and go out for even a single day. The mother too, in the same way, went on growing in tender fondness and raising the boy with the greatest indulgence. This was the love of mother and child, full of closeness to one another, full of affection.
