Passage 6

Tap any word for its meaning.

In plain words

When the mind is multiplied by infinity, it turns into the very form of God. Him they called Hiraṇyagarbha. When the Ātma is multiplied by infinity, it is Brahman. What belongs to the bṛhat is Brahman. It is what pervades everywhere. We must expand Love. Expansion of love is life. Contraction of love is death. We must hold to expansion love. For the Prema that is divinity itself is there. It is always spreading out. Divine feelings that keep spreading out must arise in us. But man today has no such broad feelings. All of it is nothing but narrow feelings. Holding on to this narrowness, how can vastness become clear? Our divinity is infinite. That is why they hailed God as ‘Anantarūpāya namaḥ’. In the infinite world He is present as the One of infinite forms. In the inert and the conscious alike, He Himself is present. Because He is everywhere, He has become all-pervading. Brahman is the name for all-pervasiveness itself. It may not be seen. It may be seen. That depends on our good fortune. It depends on your faith. If you truly hold that faith firm, He will surely be seen in an instant. God does not come down from somewhere. There is no going away from here to somewhere. God's is a state of no coming and going. He does not come; He does not go anywhere. He is everywhere. But for some, the power that arose from that divinity makes them forget divinity itself. Many clouds arise because of the sun. The root cause of these clouds is the sun itself. But the clouds that arose from the sun hide the sun itself. Does the sun get angry merely for this? If you are patient for a while, the clouds move away. The sun shines as it always does.

Every single thing is born from God. Being born, growing and dissolving: for all three, God alone is the root cause. In every object a bond with God has been formed. In every matter we must contemplate divinity. What God asks for is two things, just two: Satya and Dharma. In these two alone there is all one could want. Compassion, kindness and consideration are all included within them.
