In plain words
Look, they have wired all this. Inside this wire there is current.
A small example. Stand before Me. When you stand before Me, My form appears in your eyes. But your form appears in My eyes. Where is your form? In Me! Where is My form? In you! For one who has recognised the oneness of these two, anywhere at all, both are one! So Divinity is everywhere. Only when your gaze falls on Me does My gaze fall on you. Without that, with your own gaze not on God at all, if you say, ‘God's gaze must come upon me’, how will it come? So if God's gaze is to fall on you, your gaze too must fall on God. We must also make the effort that this calls for. Through sādhanas of just this kind Bhārata has had many kinds of experience since ancient times.
We cannot in any way simply make visible the Divinity that is within humanness. In practice, we must live through experiences of certain kinds. So if we are to have our own experiences, we must have full faith in it. There is not one thing in this world that God cannot do. He can do anything. But you too must earn the power to have it done by Him. We must develop in ourselves the Buddhi fit for that earning.
By evil resolves one comes to sorrow; by a resolve of Satya one becomes a good man; he alone who is empty of every resolve attains Śānti: this is Śrī Sai's word, the path that makes Satya known.
Because, keeping bad qualities inside, with evil feelings and evil resolves, if you want to gain Divinity, how will you gain it? To one who has evil feelings, evil resolves keep appearing. That itself is his reaction, resound, reflection.
