Passage 11

In plain words

When we renounce body and mind, it turns into divinity. To become divine, just the one principle of the Ātma, that alone, is enough. When we forget the Ātma that is joined with the body and the mind, it turns into mere animal nature. When we forget the Ātma and the body and are with the mind alone, it takes shape as demon nature. So demon nature, animal nature, humanness: all three of these are right within the principle of man's heart. So, first of all, if we are to be human, we must live in the unity of all three, body, mind and Ātma. Little by little, keeping the principle of the mind and the principle of the Ātma, we must give up the principle of the body. The principle of the Ātma alone; then the animal principle moves far away from us. We must give up both of these, this mind and the body, and keep the principle of the Ātma alone. Only then do we take shape as divinity. So every single thing happens within God's decision. But it does not happen otherwise than this.

So whatever happens, all of it is God's own command, God's own will. It is God's own decision: when we live with this firm resolve, we can enjoy everything.

Life is a challenge, meet it Life is a game, play it Life is a dream, realise it Life is a love, enjoy it.

In this way we must go on living our life. We must meet all challenges. Whatever hardship comes, we must not take fright at it. We must not be shaken; only when we set out bravely to face it can we, through it, gain full divinity. There we must not give room even to doubts. If doubt comes, we become confused. If this confusion comes, your fuse goes. So we must not give this confusion any room at all. Where does doubt come in? Doubt comes when we do not recognise the truth.
