In plain words
In suṣupti, men perceive no experience whatever and no Ānanda whatever. The experience of svapna is not there for them in suṣupti; the experience, the Ānanda, the joys and sorrows of jāgṛti are not there in svapna. All of it is nothing but impermanent, nothing but Asatya: but the Avatāras do not have these three states. The Avatāras are embodiments of Saccidānanda.
He alone is wise who comes to know the true nature of life and acts in keeping with that knowledge.
Life is a Challenge; meet it! Life is Love; enjoy it! Life is a dream; realise it! Life is a game; play it!
To live like this and carry your life forward, this alone is the true conquest of every quarter. Just as the lion roams the forest without fear and wins its victories, man must become steadfast and fearless and be crowned sovereign of the empire of the Ātma. The very moment they hear the lion's roar, the beasts all run far away; in the same way, the very moment the light of the Ātma-principle lights up the antaḥkaraṇa, the fears and delusions that belong to Prakṛti vanish.
