In plain words
We must step forward with courage. Nowhere in this world is there a power greater or mightier than faith in God.
Become little children again!
All these boys and girls have gathered here and are spending their time in a most sacred way. Truly, the good fortune of these children is fortune indeed. This good fortune is nothing but the merit their parents earned! (Pointing to a girl) When that little child was dancing, she kept her eyes on the feet of the other children, to see how they were doing it. She watched carefully whether her step in the dance was falling right or not, whether she was dancing as all the others were dancing or not. (Swami called the girl near, created a gold necklace and gave it to her.)
Embodiments of Prema! If you all become little children again, it will give Me great joy. In children there are no bad qualities such as anger and resentment, envy, ostentation and Ahaṅkāra. Once, in the crowd gathered around Him, Jesus Christ saw a baby with its mother. He lifted the child: “This little child is very dear to Me. For all this child's feelings are pure, steady and selfless, like the feelings of God,” He said. As they grow, the noose of desire and fits of anger begin in children. Along with them, worries too grow. That is why, as we grow older, we must go on reducing our desires. We must gain control over desire. Only then will the power of God emerge within us. As we grow older, the very desires within us drag us down. So we must remove that Māyā completely. What a pure feeling little children have! What a steady nature! What a selfless resolve! That itself is the mark of divinity.
We must live with such pure, steady and selfless feelings. Embodiments of Prema! Become little children for at least one minute a day. When desires rise up, push them aside, saying, ‘Chī! These are not fit for me.’ Only when we spurn desires in this way can we stand firm with courage.
