In plain words
Embodiments of Prema! The conditions of the world today are not unknown to you. Nowhere is there the least room to speak about God.
Money has become God, arrogance has become religion, selfishness itself has become the seat of Buddhi, ego has become the fashion, desires have become beauty, Dharma has come to nothing on the earth; compassion has dwindled, courtesy has become a void, deceit itself has become the lustre of living beings, Prema and affection have fallen prey to diseases; in Kali, learning has made men blind with lust.
In conditions like these, how is it possible to teach about Prema? Today what is called Dharma is seen nowhere in the world. God appears by no other path but Prema alone. You think that Prema means something to do with worldly matters only. You love others for your own selfish ends. With selfish love such as this, you cannot behold God. If you truly enquire, selfless Prema itself is Divinity. From the simple man up to the Paramahaṃsa, the principle of Prema is present equally in all. I am always teaching about Prema alone. I know no other path at all but Prema. To one who has Prema, the principle of the Paramātma appears in every object and in every living being.
