In plain words
The day when all good devotees gather and, hailing Him as God, praise Him in words sweet to the ear; the day when, removing with love every sorrow of the poor, we live together like brothers; the day when, to the bands of servants who dwell on God, we serve choice food with love; the day when some great soul comes to us and sits with us and speaks of God: such a day, experience it as a day indeed; all the other days are days of rites for the dead. What more than this shall I make known to you, O members of this gathering, gentle and esteemed for your virtues!
Embodiments of Prema!
You have come here with great enthusiasm to take part in this sādhana camp. Though the time you have been here is short, your experiences have been very great. You have described them grandly in your talks. Yet the fruit you hoped for is still to come to you. Do not be satisfied, after eating a little something, that your stomach is full with that much. To fill your stomach you must still eat a great deal more. In the days ahead there is room for you to experience Ānanda in full measure.
