In plain words
Many people keep up the distinction, ‘our God, your God’. “Where is your God? Where is my God?” God is one alone. The God in everyone is one and the same! All are one, be alike to everyone. You must give up difference and believe in oneness. In you, in me, in him, one and the same breath (So'ham) moves. So the principle of ‘So'ham’ in all is one alone. ‘So'ham’ means I am God. That being so, what madness it is to think that divinity exists apart from you! You yourself are God. The moment you are born, ‘Ko'ham? Ko'ham?’ (Who am I? Who am I?), you cry. Before you die, you must come to know ‘So'ham’ (I am God). If you are born crying and die still crying, what is the use of taking a human birth!
Without recognising the truth ‘I am God’, many people hold on to crazy delusions and do dhyāna in many different ways. Rāma is different, Kṛṣṇa is different, Jesus is different, Allāh is different... You must not split divinity up in this way. God is only one. But today those who teach this oneness in a way that goes home to the heart have become scarce. To think that there is one God for Hindus, one God for Christians and one God for Muslims is a grave error.
Muslims as Allāh, good Christians as Jehovah, Vaiṣṇavas as the Lotus-eyed, Śaivas as Śambhu, ever worship with joy; and to all of them long life, enjoyment, fortune and other riches He grants, and protects them: the Paramātma is one alone, see!
