In plain words
At times He displays many wonders. At other times He behaves like a common man. But Kṛṣṇa is not a common man. Kṛṣṇa is Kṛṣṇa! No one can say what God's līlās will be like. Kṛṣṇa wears a human form in play. But even those who were very close to Him could not believe His līlās. Why did Kṛṣṇa show līlās in this way? It was only to draw the people of the world and so to increase Bhakti and surrender in them. He acts in this way only to forge in devotees an ‘attachment’ to God. Kṛṣṇa has no desires of any kind. For man to form false notions in many ways about a God who has no such cravings is nothing but a fault of the mind!
After a few days a great change came over Prabhā. She too began to worship Kṛṣṇa, along with Rādhā. Joining Rādhā, Prabhā too turned into a Rādhā. As the company, so the quality. Whatever kind of person your friend is, you too will become just that kind. That is why Rādhā and Prabhā both became one. Prabhā had another name, Candrikā. The name her mother called her was ‘Prabhā’; the name people outside gave her was ‘Candrikā’. It is quite natural for some to have two or three names in this way. The minds of the two, Prabhā and Rādhā, became one. It is very hard for minds to become one. Man can change anything, but he cannot change the mind. That is possible only for God. ‘Change our boy's mind, Swami; he is full of hatred for his parents,’ some people ask Me. ‘Mano mūlam idaṃ jagat.’ This whole world rests on the mind alone.
A tree can be trued, with no bend left; a stone can be trued, made straight; can the mind be trued, with no bend left?! These words tell the plain truth.
