Grace showered on Munshi in Bombay

Having finished our East Africa tour, we set out for Bombay. Our plane reached Bombay very late. Even so, Munshi was there waiting for Me. Do you know who Munshi was? The Chairman of the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan. At that time his hand and his speech had both failed him. The moment I landed there, he was able to raise his hand. In joy he could not contain, he cried, ‘Victory to Bhagavān!’ ‘Munshi has been able to raise his hand; he is talking!’ everyone marvelled. From there he took Me straight to the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan. There they had arranged a World Conference of the Sathya Sai Organisations. A great many people had gathered. On that occasion Munshi spoke very well. “God, whom we could not see until now, has come before our eyes today and is filling us with joy”, he said. He made one request: that I should stay three days at their house. To fulfil his wish, I stayed in their home for three days. Those three days passed for him like three moments.

If you behave well, Śānti will arise from within you

Today, wherever you look, hatred, hatred, hatred! This is not good. It is not good that we, born as human beings, should abandon our humanity and foster the traits of beasts. At times it seems that the beasts are better than human beings. The qualities that human beings ought to have are seen in the beasts instead. Today animals are turning into human beings, and human beings are turning into animals! Human beings must live as human beings. They must foster human qualities. The man from Africa who spoke a little while ago is also spreading the message of human values and teaching them. Today there are many human beings in the world. But those endowed with human values are very rarely seen.
