In plain words
In the same way, though God is one, He sees all. Where is God? He is in you, with you, above you, below you. (Where does God dwell? He is within you, He is beside you, He is over you, He is under you.) So we need not go looking for God as someone apart. All these differences appear because you look only at the physical body. But you must not make the physical body your support. Body is like a water bubble, mind is like a mad monkey. The mad mind roams as it pleases. One minute it is in one place; the next minute it runs off somewhere else. Only one thing is steady and everlasting. That very thing is the ‘I’. So keep firmly in you the feeling: I am God, I am God. Where is God? That itself is the right answer to this question.
Live in Prema: this is the sādhana you must do
However many bhajans, however much japa, however much tapas we may do, we must keep Prema as the chief thing. Where there is Prema alone, there is no need to do any further sādhana. When Prema is absent, any amount of sādhana is of no use. So fill your mind with Prema. Live in Prema. This alone is the sādhana you must do. “With a heart full of the joy of Prema, say Rāma, Rāma, Rām …” Physical ties and relationships keep coming and going. All these are passing clouds. All these are no more than reflection, reaction, resound of the feelings of your mind! (Bhagavān, showing His kerchief) This is a cloth. This is not cloth; it is a joining of threads. These are not threads; this is cotton. This is God's creation. In this creation God has given you many ‘threads’. You are weaving them however you like. Your liking does not matter; what God likes matters.
The body and the mind change. But Prema knows no change. Anything at all has birth and death, but for Prema there is no birth, no death.
