In plain words
God did not create this world for fun; He created it for the oneness of all. What is in God's creation is oneness alone! God creates in order to bring together the Prema of all! But today, unfortunately, politics has set out and is making division grow. Four people living in one house go four different ways. They split one house into four parts. This is a great evil. Even if a house holds four hundred people, all of them must become one. They must help one another. Only then will we have truly experienced creation as it should be.
The form of Ardhanārīśvara
Everyone must take part in the bhajan. We must remember the Name of God. Even if you do no other sādhana, it is enough to remember the Name of God. “Without bhajan there is no happiness, no Śānti”: Śānti comes through bhajan and through nothing else. “Without the Name of Hari there is no Ānanda. Without japa and dhyāna there is no union.” What is yoga? What is dhyāna? It is not merely sitting with your eyes closed, remembering God. Dhyāna is joining your heart to God. You and God must become one. It was to show this that the form of Ardhanārīśvara was made. One half is Prakṛti, the other is Puruṣa; one half is the jīva, the other is divinity. To hold steadily to the oneness of jīva and Brahman is true Mukti. Where the jīva is, there God is. So you need not run off somewhere in search of God. Do not think, “I am a jīva”; think, “I am God.” In truth you are not a jīva. Going by the body, you think that you are a jīva and that God is somewhere apart. No, no. Going by the Ātma, the two are one. Though there are so many bodies in this hall, in all of them the Ātma is one. In the sky there is only one sun. That one sun gives light to this whole world, does it not! In the same way, God is like the sun. It is He who gives light to all. But if we revile anyone, darkness sets out within us. So love all. Serve all. Then God Himself will protect you.
