Passage 5

Tap any word for its meaning.

In plain words

A king is honoured and worshipped only in his own country. But a man of virtue is honoured in all countries. Though a man is born with good looks, has fine youth, is born in a great family and has learned all kinds of worldly learning, if he lacks the virtue called “spiritual Vidyā” he shows like the flower of the moduga tree. The moduga flower is beautiful to look at, but its smell is foul.
