In plain words

If you look, it is God you should look upon; to look upon other things is folly. If you walk, it is with the Lord you should walk; to go by another way is folly. If you speak, it is Satya you should speak; all other speech is folly. If you sing, it is songs of the Truth you should sing; to sing other songs is folly. If you hear, it is the bhajans of Hari you should hear; the God you long to see is the God to see; the God you must reach is the God to reach. What higher Truth is there than this, members of this gathering, counted among the good and virtuous!
