In plain words

Come, let us see the wedding; come, let us see the wedding of Śrī Sītā and Rāma. Great merit, they say, for those who see it; blessed fortune, they say, for the virtuous; fortune and misfortune, they say, are no different here; to devotees in their fervour it becomes the gift of Mukti. (Come, let us see the wedding …) On the howdah, they say, a moving splendour; the divine Rāma, they say, glittering and gleaming; in Rāma's lap, they say, lovely Sītā; the brothers and servants of Sītā and Rāma, they say, ask after our welfare; when they ask after our welfare, what could we lack? Move on, move on, with no more words in reply. (Come, let us see the wedding …) The soft notes of the vīṇā, they say, and marvellous nagārās; flutes and the fine mṛdaṅga; chariots, elephants, horses and palanquins; behind them the aged sage Kauśika; behind him the aged Daśaratha, behind him the minister Sumantra; most wondrously, joyously, all Ayodhyā has come surging like the sea. (Come, let us see the wedding …)
