It was he who quickly freed the lord of elephants out of his hard place when the crocodile had him and he was holding the lotus feet in mind, and the cow-elephants were crying. He is easily worshipped by upright men who take shelter nowhere else, and hard to worship for the bad. What man who knows what he has been given would not serve him? Whoever hears, or sings, or takes joy in the killing of Hiranyaksa, that great and wonderful play of the one who took a boar's shape for a reason, is freed straight off, brahmins, even from the killing of a brahmin.
