1When his brother had been killed in this way by Hari in the shape of a boar, Hiranyakasipu burned, king, with rage and with grief. 2Full of rage, biting his lip, looking up at the smoky sky with eyes ablaze with anger, he said this. 3With his jagged tusks and fierce look, his face knotted in a frown hard to face, he lifted his spear and said this to the Danavas in the assembly: 4Ho, Danavas and sons of Diti! Dvimurdhan, Tryaksa, Sambara, Satabahu, Hayagriva, Namuci, Paka, Ilvala, 5Vipracitti, Puloman, Sakuni and the rest: hear my word, all of you, and let it be done at once, with no delay.
