1Spoken to in this way by her own husband Kasyapa, king, Aditi carried out this vow for twelve days and did not slacken. 2Thinking with an undivided understanding of the great Person, the Lord, holding in with her mind the bad horses that are the senses, with her understanding for a driver, 3and setting her mind by that one-pointed understanding on Vasudeva, the Bhagavan, the self of all, she kept the milk vow.
