While Prahlada, his palms joined, listened on, king, the revered one of the golden womb spoke to the slayer of Madhu. Seeing her husband bound, his good wife, undone by fear, with her palms joined and her face bent low, bowed and spoke to Upendra, king. These three worlds were made by you for your own play, Lord, and yet others of poor understanding set up ownership in them. What can they bring to you, the maker, the master, who casts the worlds away again, shameless as they are, their claim to be the doer already brought low by you? Maker of beings, lord of beings, god of gods, you who are the whole world: let this one go, from whom everything has been taken. He does not deserve to be held down.

The whole earth was given you by him, and the worlds he had won by his works; and all he had was offered, and himself with it, by a mind that did not falter. One who with no guile in his mind gives water at your feet, and makes a true offering even with sprigs of grass, comes to the highest way. How then should he come to pain who has handed over the three worlds, and with a mind that did not falter?
