Verse 52

⁵²Though the Treta age was running, time became like the Krta age, with Rama for king, who knew what dharma is and brought happiness to every being. ⁵³The forests, the rivers, the mountains, the lands, the islands and the seas all gave the people whatever they wanted, best of the Bharatas. ⁵⁴There was no worry, no sickness, no old age, no wearing out, no pain, no grief, no fear, no exhaustion; and there was no death for anyone who did not want it, with Rama, who is beyond the reach of the senses, for king. ⁵⁵Holding the vow of one wife only, pure, living as a royal sage lives, he carried out the duty of a householder himself and taught it by doing it.

⁵⁶By love, by falling in with him, by her character, bowed low in modesty, chaste, and by her understanding too and by shame, knowing his mood, Sita took her husband's heart.
