There is nothing strange in this for the Bhagavan, endless, lord of the world, in whom this world is woven across and along, dear one, as a cloth is on its threads. Then all the kinsmen of Dhenuka, the brayers, ran at Krsna and at Rama in a fury, their kinsman killed. One after another as they came at them, king, Krsna and Rama caught them by the hind legs and in play threw them into the kings of grasses. The ground, strewn with heaps of fruit and with the lifeless bodies of Daityas and with the tops of palms, was splendid, like the floor of the sky with clouds across it. Hearing of that very great deed of theirs, the gods and the rest let fall showers of flowers, and made music, and praised them.

Then men, their fear gone, ate the palm fruit, and the cattle grazed the grass in the wood where Dhenuka had been killed.
