Foremost of the Vrsnis, your lotus hand makes fearless those who come to your feet in fear of the round of birth; it gives what is wanted; it took Sri's hand. Beloved, lay it on our heads. You who end the pain of the people of Vraja, hero, whose smile breaks the pride of your own people, the women: turn to us, friend, your servants, and show us that lovely lotus face. Your lotus foot drags away the wrong from those who bow to you; it follows after the grass-eaters; it is the house of Sri; it was set on the snake's hood. Put it on our breasts, and cut out the desire lying in our hearts. With your sweet voice and your charming words that the wise delight in, lotus-eyed one: hero, we do what you tell us and we are losing our senses. Fill us with the wine of your lip.
