Homage to the fish that was the cause, and that moved on the sea of dissolution. Homage to you, the horse-headed one, the death of Madhu and Kaitabha. Homage to the great tortoise, who bore Mandara. Homage to the form of the boar, whose play was the lifting of the earth. Homage to you, the lion that was a wonder, who takes the fear from the world of the good. And homage to you, the dwarf, who strode across the three worlds. Homage to the lord of the Bhrgus, who cut down the forest of the proud kshatriya class. Homage to you, best of Raghu's line, who made an end of Ravana. Homage to you, Vasudeva, and homage to Sankarsana; to Pradyumna, to Aniruddha, to the lord of the Satvatas, homage.

Homage to the Buddha, the pure one, who bewilders the Daityas and Danavas. Homage to you in the form of Kalki, who kills the kshatriyas that have become like barbarians.
