He goes to his own place· Verses 5–7

Resolved on this, king, the Lord whose will comes true, who reaches everywhere, drew his own family in, using the brahmins' curse as his pretext. With his own form, from which every loveliness the world has is let loose, he took away the eyes of men; with his words, the minds of those who remember them; with his feet, the works of those who look on them. Having taken all this away, and spread his fair-sung fame at once over the earth, thinking that by it they would cross the darkness, the Lord went to his own place.
