Arjuna, sick with the parting from Krsna, his dearest friend, comforted himself with what Krsna had sung, with his true sayings. For the relatives who had been killed, whose lines were gone, Arjuna had the rites for the departed carried out, in order and as they should be. The sea flooded over Dvaraka, which Hari had left, in a moment, great king, sparing the beautiful dwelling of the Bhagavan. The Bhagavan, the slayer of Madhu, is always present there, taking away by remembrance everything that is not good, the auspiciousness of every auspicious thing. Taking the women, the children and the old, those who were left after the killing, Dhananjaya brought them into Indraprastha and had Vajra anointed there.

Hearing from Arjuna of the killing of their friends, king, your grandfathers made you the bearer of the line, and all of them went on the great road. Whoever sings out with trust these deeds and this birth of Visnu, the god of gods, is freed from all his wrongs, mortal though he is. So it is that a man who tells out the lovely strength of the descents of Hari, the Bhagavan, and his doings as a child, which give the greatest peace, heard here and heard elsewhere, comes to the highest devotion in the state of the highest swans.
